WEPACK ASEAN 2023 Thank You Letter

Dear exhibitors and guests,

This November, the enchanting city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia welcomed WEPACK ASEAN 2023, an internationally renowned global packaging industry event. International organizations, government departments, industry associations, packaging industry enterprises and media has assembled at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) to explore the future direction of the packaging industry in Southeast Asia. On behalf of the event organizer, RX, we’d like to extend enthusiastic congratulations to those convening at WEPACK ASEAN 2023. We warmly welcome and offer our sincerest gratitude to attending media and friends from all walks of life, especially the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCeb), Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), World Packaging Organization (WPO), Asian Corrugated Case Association (ACCA), Malaysian Corrugated Carton Manufacturers' Association (MACCMA), Malaysia Printers Association (MPA), and Selangor and FT Chinese Printing Presses' Association (SFTCPPA), who have all provided strong support for the exhibition. Thank you all!

     Our industries have already been affected by unexpected changes in this era and growing consumer populations have sparked the rapid development of Southeast Asia’s packaging industry, transforming the region in to one of the world's most vibrant and promising areas of economic development. We gather here to drive innovation and address challenges in development and expansion in Southeast Asian market.

As an extension of the WEPACK Brand, WEPACK ASEAN 2023, encompasses Corrugated ASEAN 2023, FoldingCarton ASEAN 2023, DPrint ASEAN 2023, and Paper ASEAN 2023. The event is designed to leverage RCEP’s international cooperative excellence, connecting global packaging industry suppliers via exhibitions, forums and site visits . This is the key platform to establish close collaboration among suppliers, buyers, industry associations and packaging enterprises to facilitate more partnership in Southeast Asia.

WEPACK ASEAN 2023 has been held concurrently with multiple international forums to discuss emerging trends that include "Future Trends in Corrugated Board Smart Manufacturing", "Future Trends in Carton and Digital Printing", "Smart Production of Paperboard and Carton", and "CMVU Machine Vision Technology Enabling Automation in Malaysia Exchange Meeting", where in-depth insights into cutting-edge technologies and development trends will be shared. Additionally, presenters has shared success stories from the Asian market and around the world. The Forums focused on different applications and solutions for machine vision technologies in automated factories. These efforts aim to facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange along the packaging industry supply chain across different countries.

As an old saying goes, "every cloud has a silver lining". In the midst of global reform, RX will work closely with packaging industry to establish ASEAN 2024 as the key event to drive growth, development and create a brighter future for the global packaging industry.
